The Motorola Q promised a whole lot, but it failed to deliver when the time came for it to get onstage. Motorola aims to make amends by releasing a couple of new Q-based handsets in the form of the Q8 and Q9. The Q8 remains the same as the original Q, save that it caters to the GSM market now. The Q9 is totally new, running on Windows Mobile 6.0 and boasting a dual HSDPA/UMTS engine which gives you high speed mobile Internet connectivity. In addition, the Q9 also comes with 256MB of on-board memory, a microSD memory card slot, Bluetooth with A2DP support, and a 2 megapixel camera with 8x zoom and video capture capability. There is no word on when it will be available worldwide though, nor how much it will cost.
