Apple iPod ad dances on Puerto Rican tunes
Apple has launched this latest silhouette television advertisement to promote its iPod and iTunes. Apple has once again banked upon its famed silhouette style of advertisement to promote its product following its huge success and popularity among youth section which is its core targeted consumers. In the latest advertisement the firm has added a Puerto Rican flavor in order to emphasize on iTunes along with its iPod. The advertisement has shown people of different ages passionately dancing on the sounds of ‘Mi Swing Es Tropical’, by Nickodemus & Quantic featuring Tempo.
This time around Apple seems to stick with its ongoing advertising strategy of promoting products with silhouette advertisements and do not want to undertake any experimental strategy following immense success of its current promotional strategy. This advertisement was developed by TBWA\Chiat\Day, Los Angeles.
