Hitachi externalizes hard drive line up
Hitachi will be unveiling its line of external USB hard drives in an attempt to capture the lucrative direct attached storage market, with models offering storage capacities ranging from 500GB to 1TB in size. The case looks as though it is made from matte plastic, while the LED ring in front bears a resemblance to external hard drives from Western Digital. The LED ring is actually a one-touch backup button for your convenience. What kind of backup solutions are you using at the moment? This reminds me, I ought to get one of these myself although I have not experienced a hard drive crash before.
